Benson C. Chen, Founder and Principal Architect of Studio C, has 20 years of architectural experience in the US, China, and Taiwan.

He holds a Master of Architecture degree from UC Berkeley and has acquired a Construction Management certificate through the UC Berkeley Extension program. Benson is also a licensed architect in CA and NY, a LEED AP BD+C, and a CPHC (PHIUS Certified Passive House Consultant).

 

Studio C is dedicated to providing site-specific and sustainable design solutions using building science principles and passive solar strategies.

Our extensive experience includes designing large-scale high-rise buildings, university campuses, mixed-use developments, corporate headquarters, theaters, law office tenant improvements, restaurants, and, most importantly, residential projects.

 

We are passionate about delivering exceptional results in both residential and commercial projects. We believe that utilizing Building Information Modeling (BIM) techniques and collaborating with contractors from the early stages of the project is the key to achieving seamless delivery. We can also help strategize and optimize the process if you are considering prefabrication as a delivery method.
