RESIDENTIAL / ADU
MODULAR HOUSING PRODUCT LINE
Northern California · Professional work, 2017–2019
Five single-family models and two ADUs, designed as a product line for rapid modular construction — floor plans engineered for affordability and repeatable factory production. As an Architect, I built the workflow that carried the line from design through fabrication: customized tools moving drawings and data cleanly between the design lead, in-house engineers, and contractors.

TWO GUIDES
People usually call us with the same questions. What will it cost, how long will it take, and do we need an architect at all. These guides answer part of that before you spend anything.
Request the guide you want and we will send it over. The page for
downloading them directly is still being built.

#01 REMODEL / ADDITION
Setting the scope, room sizes, budget and contingency, and how to put a team together. Also aging in place, and making room for parents or grown children.

#02 ADU - DETACHED/ATTACHED/CONVERSION
What each ADU type means. The California rules that require a city to approve one that meets the standards. How far it has to sit from the property line, how tall it can be, fire zones and parking. Then the permit steps in order.
Second edition, September 2026, updated for the California ADU law changes that took effect on 1 January 2026.
